Karina joined the firm in 2013 after working in the personal injury field for five years. After completing an ABA approved Paralegal Studies program, she became a certified paralegal by NALA. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows her to effectively communicate with a wide range of clients. She is passionate about helping tort victims and enjoys working for an attorney who truly advocates for those in our community.
Sarai joined Ortega Law Firm in 2017, where she developed a passion for personal injury law. Starting as a receptionist, her dedication led to her promotion to Administrative Assistant. She now serves as Mr. Ortega's Legal Assistant, applying her extensive skills in case management, client onboarding, and scheduling for litigation matters, community engagements, and educational trainings. Her earlier career in banking and as a certified nursing assistant cultivated a client-centric and compassionate approach.
Cynthia is a certified full-charge Bookkeeper with over 24 years of experience owning and operating her own bookkeeping business, serving clients across a wide range of industries. For the past 12 years, she has worked in the accounting department for Ortega Law Firm, specializing in legal accounting. Her time with the firm has offered valuable opportunities for growth, allowing her to deepen her expertise while providing accurate, reliable financial support. Cynthia is known for her dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to helping businesses stay financially organized.
Carlos is a third-year student at Arizona State University, double majoring in Political Science and Transborder Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies. He joined Ortega Law Firm in January 2025, where he has been gaining valuable experience in records retrieval, file management, and client relations. Carlos aspires to pursue a career in law, using his education and hands-on experience to advocate for underrepresented communities. Outside of work, he serves as President of a community service organization and competes with the ASU Men's Rugby Club.
